”twas a good day, day 4

Well I have quite the bundle if information for you Reader! We did end up deciding to stay at the Delta County YMCA and they actually we gracious enough to let us stay inside. We had wild rice soup for dinner, which was quite delicious and we showered and washed all of our clothes. The fun thing was, was heading down to a park in Escanaba where all the camp kids were and we were welcomed with applause and camp songs. After answering many questions we headed back to the y, stopping at Walmart to pick up a few things. Unfortunately, we broke another spoke. It is now getting to the point where I am a little nervous that there is something wrong with the wheel, but there is a bike shop that we can bring it to tomorrow to get it looked at. Also, on the brighter side, one if the gentlemen at the YMCA was a chiropractor and said that he would do me and Zach for free tomorrow before the bike shop opens. So, after a long day of goods and bads, it’s always nice to sit back and relax.

P.S. remember our three areas of focus: youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Now be healthy and go make the world a better place.

Here are some pictures:

  2. I really look forward to your updates and photos! Sunny says your wheel is out of true…probably a ding in the rim. Do you have a spoke wrench? Check each one and true the wheel. Hope they help you at the bike shop tomorrow! Must have been fun to be greeted like celebrities!

Grandma’s Marathon was this past weekend and it was great running weather – in the 50’s with rain and fog. Proud of you guys! Take care.
